Biography
Bernadette La Hengst bubbles over and explodes out of every corner. Her first solo album ‚Der beste Augenblick in deinem Leben’ (2002) took the baton from the Grrrl-Pop-Punk of her ex-band ‚Die Braut haut ins Auge’ and hit the ground running direction electronic dance chansons. Her second solo release, La Beat (2005), comes with a portion more catchy home-studio atmo. Bernadette la Hengst lays a few more vocal tracks on the fire and conjures up some of the coolest glam orgies, offbeat revues and trash dance hits to come from the post feminist sound spectrum.
La Hengst was born in 1967 and grew up in Bad Salzuflen in Westfalia.
