Biography William Dunker

William Dunker (born Wilhelm Dunker) born on March 15, 1959 in Charleroi (Wallonia - Belgium). This singer has totally renewed Walloon songs in the early 2000s. He was first known under the name of Alfred, singing covers of classical successes.

In 1985, he released his first single, "Todi su'l voye (Always on the road)" which was often played on the radio even out of Walloon programmes. Released as a CD in 1996, the song went on to become a new success.

After that, he hooked up with André Gauditiaubois, who became his songwriter for the full album called "Trop Tchôd".

In 2001, he released another set of songs, "Ey'Adon!" with professional musicians. In 2002, William Dunker recorded a song with Corse band I Muvrini entitled: Erein Eta Joan - D'ji Sènme è Dji M'e Va.

After releasing a live DVD, he released the album "Ca va bén" in late 2007. Dunker still regularly appears in plays.
