Biography
Glace Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia birthed a country singer who would be destined to leave his boot-print on the soul of country music. Influenced by his mother’s love of country music, Drake Jensen, at the age of 4, connected to John Denver through “Country Roads”, giving his heart over to the music long before his mind knew how to sing it.
As a teenager, Cape Breton was the proving ground for Jensen and although he diligently canaried both rock and country in any venue available, it was a pathway to the hayfields and heartache of country music that opened up before him.
