History The Strangled

The Strangled originally started as a few songs recorded in Joe's living room with Ryan playing drums. Ryan quit to focus on school and Joe found Bacon through an ad he placed as a bass player for hire. Bacon became an indispensable part of the band and Joe later recruited friends Curtis and Harry who play in another local band.

Although they play or have played in various rock bands, the group takes a more melodic approach to its own work, embracing punk-pop and incorporating aspects of indie rock with a significantly darker sound of catchy pop riffs and the occasional harmonies while having enough energy and pick-up to keep its pop sense steadily beneath its dour shroud.

That sounds like a contrived load of nonsense to but they hope you enjoy it.
