History The Lukewarm
The Lukewarm (U.S.) was a band from Cincinnati, Ohio that played original rock and roll music with influences of blues, garage, and indie. In the winter of 2004, Clint Lutz and Travis Estell got together to work on original songs, and in 2005, began to play shows as a duo. In mid-2006, Joe Dunlap join the group for a series of shows, playing bass and helping to create the band’s new sound. Soon, Stephen Rowe was welcomed as the permanent bass player. The trio opened for a number of touring national bands, such as Starlight Mints and The Whigs. The band’s first EP (Treefingers) was released in September 2005 and sold out. Their second EP, tentatively titled Medium Fidelity, was never finished after the band's dissolution in 2006, but the demos can be heard online.
