Bowjia is an indie electronic group from Guelph, Ontario, Canada. The band was formed by Elliot Grabish and Matt Herman in 2009. The two create atmospheric electronic music by utilizing various synthesizers, samples, and song writing techniques. They oversee the entire production process of their releases: composition, mixing, and mastering. The group has been compared to the likes of Air and Röyksopp with their music being described as “hypnotic” and “visual”.

On October 7th, 2013, Bowjia released their full length debut record, Ballooniverse. Official music videos for singles off the record include ‘Hold Me Close feat. Mallory’ and ‘Fresh Prints'.

Bowjia are set to release a new EP titled 'Trail Mix' before 2015 and are currently playing shows around the GTA.
