Biography Itsu

There are multiple artists with this name:

1) Artyom Markaryan aka ITSU was born in Krasnodar, Russia and is currently based in Moscow. His work is inspired by ambient music, IDM and minimal techno. By combining these styles he achieves his own individual sound. Markaryan is one half of the post-rock/ambient project Daydreamer, where he collaborates with Igor Popravkin (sgmnt).

2) The first thing to you should know about Itsu (Ben Jancovich) is that he doesn't much care for genres. His lush, underwater soundscapes and ethereal melodies sooth the listener into a false sense of security before exploding into a barrage of distorted granular synthesis, rumbling sub bass and frenetic break beats. There is something strangely familiar about these tracks, but at the same time, they're not quite like anything you've heard before.
