History The Higher Craft

The band was formed by Christina Poupoutsi (Vocals) & Craig Twining (Ex-Magic Mushroom Band guitarist) in London 2007, the following year saw the release of their debut album 'Magic Box'. MB was a serious slice of west coast psych rock.

In 2009 the band recruited J.D. Tait (Meads of Asphodel songsmith/guitarist) & Bassist Charlie Noakes, which in turn saw the band take a new direction of prog/psych rock/metal or called by some hippie metal! The new formation quickly released the EP 'Legends of Time' to set out their new sound before writing began for the 2nd album.

2010 saw the stop-gap release of the EP 'Oracle XIV, Gateway' with three exclusive tracks & one from the forthcoming album.

In 2011 the band released their long awaited 77 minute long concept album 'The Quest Into The SteppingstoneAge' on the 21st of June. THC also recruited Norwegian drummer Andre Thung in 2011, the band having been working with a drum machine up until this point.
