History Black Magick SS

Black Magick SS is an Australian indie black metal band, influenced by psychedelic rock and synth themes that go along with occult-themed lyrics and their trademark mixture of the visual aesthetics of fascism and psychedelic art. As such, the group is sometimes erroneously and controversially referred to as National Socialist Black Metal.

The spelling of the word "magic" in the form "magick" refers to the occult work of Aleister Crowley, with the SS standing for Schutzstaffel - a nod to their imagery.

Their first official release was in 2012 with the EP Symbols of Great Power, which consisted of four songs.
