Griefthorn is a one man project started in santa ana CA in the fall of 2005 under the name "Vinter"... than was changed to "Griefthorn" shortly after the new year 2006...

Griefthorn represents; misanthropy, nihilism, and environmentalism... and pays homage to norse, germanic, slavic, and celtic Mythology....

other subject matter consists of; Atheism, suicide/depression, personal and social struggles/conflicts, war, hate, and love.

Griefthorn does not stand by/represent any political party what so ever...and is not associated with either the right or left wing.... misanthropic, nihilistic, and environmentalist metal....
