History Get Smart

get smart were an early 80's mid 90's rockabilly band,ROY PHILLIPS the lead singer

wrote 95% of their own tracks,rich caso guitar , jonny bowler d'bass were best of mates

who got roy to front them, then along came jimmy faye on drums.

all the boys hailed from the southampton area, and played alot on the rockin circuits

of those years,although they cut one album, they are for the most part still rockin..but in

other line ups.

ROY is still rockin' with THE BLACK KAT BOPPERS! a very good rockin band,whom i've had the pleasure of seein'. jonny is with the guana batz but now lives stateside,rich is

workin hard but jimmy has gone into obscurity, its such a shame because although these

boys were out n out rockin, they were loved by rockabillys,teds,psycho-billys,punks....

you name it! definately a "LIVE!" band!!!!
