The aim of ErilaZ is to unleash concrete manifestations of the deepest sources of inspiration in to the multiverse. ErilaZ draws his inspiration from many sources. Runes, storms, nature, Northern Europe and anti-modernism all share their part in ErilaZ’s musical repertoire. The name ErilaZ also hints in the direction of which is close to the heart of this artist. Very shortly put, ErilaZ is written in Proto-Germanic and has the meaning of a Rune-Master.

The musical career of ErilaZ begun at the age of nine, when he was given his first guitar. Many years and tons of rehearse later, ErilaZ was asked to join Kuroshio Current, a Finnish electro-industrial-EBM group. In 2006 Kuroshio Current was signed to UHOtrax. After various setbacks and circumstances, Kuroshio Current finally met with its end in late 2008 when the two remaining members, aQi and ErilaZ decided to part their ways and bury the band alive.

Initially, ErilaZ started as a one-man side project of the Kuroshio Current guitarist in 2005. It always held a special meaning in the founder’s heart and after former duties with Kuroshio Current were buried with KC, the main focus of ErilaZ has finally been centered to the music of ErilaZ.

ErilaZ was first seen live with familiar faces at the SÄDE presents Tokyo Underground club on 22th November 2008. This was also the date of Kuroshio Current’s burial and its last gig ever. ErilaZ played Straight Line live as the last song of the Kuroshio Burrent burial concert with a great live line-up.
