The Hobo Blues Band (HBB) was a seminal Hungarian cult band formed in 1977. Fronted by the charismatic Földes László, also known as Hobo, the band's artistic output was deeply intertwined with poetry, literature, and broader artistic expression. Their musical style drew heavily from traditional blues, infused with the raw energy of influences like The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and The Doors. HBB was also known for creating their own Hungarian adaptations of classic blues and rock songs.

Throughout their career, the Hobo Blues Band featured a revolving lineup, attracting many of Hungary's most talented musicians of the era. This dynamic composition contributed to the band's evolving sound and creative vitality. The final lineup, comprising Fehér Géza on guitar, Nagy Szabolcs on keyboards, Hárs Viktor on bass, and Gyenge Lajos on drums, decided to conclude their musical journey with Hobo in 2008. Following this, the band entered a period of dormancy until their definitive farewell concert in 2011, marking the end of an illustrious 33-year run.
