History
This much talked-about group plays a critically-acclaimed melange of spoken word poetry, Jazz, punk, soul, afro-latin, metal, and a mad sundry of musical styles sprinkled with massive doses of humor and irony. The groups's perennially surprising stylistic excursions have earned them a cult following, from critics to art fans, to discerning rock audiences.
Fronted by four-time Palanca Award-winning writer Lourd De Veyra with alumni from the UP College of Music completing the 8-piece ensemble, this group made waves with their 2000-released self-titled debut album which spawned the hit Gusto Ko ng Baboy. Their recently released 2nd album Urban Gulaman under independent label Terno Recordings jumped to Tower Tecords' list of top-sellers in its first week out in the market and includes the track Astro, winner of MTV's most stylish video award and NU Rock Awards' Rock Video of the Year.
