Calum Scott is a British singer who first gained national attention in 2015. He appeared on the launch episode of Britain's Got Talent, where his performance earned him a Golden Buzzer from judge Simon Cowell. Scott delivered a stripped-down, slower rendition of Robyn's "Dancing On My Own," showcasing his distinctive vocal style.
Before his solo success, Scott was involved in two other musical projects. He was part of The Experiment, an electronic, dance, and house duo formed with John McIntrye. Additionally, Scott fronted Maroon 4, a British tribute act dedicated to the band Maroon 5. He has cited Adam Levine as a significant influence on his music.
