Planet 4 Folk Quartet is a musical project featuring Andrew Weatherall and Dave Harrow, known for their collaboration with On-U Sound. Andrew Weatherall has had a distinguished career, spanning from his remix work during the Madchester era to a diverse range of electronic music productions under various monikers.

Weatherall's Rotters Golf Club label notably published a critique of the Mercury Music Prize. In 2000, when the album 'Tiny Reminders' by Two Lone Swordsmen was not nominated, the label's website posted a statement. It argued that the album maintained a tradition of being overlooked by "meaningless marketing exercises or industry backslaps." The statement then sarcastically listed the types of albums typically nominated for the award, including "the modern dance music album with plenty of scope for ad and film licensing, the modern classical album for a hint of gravitas, the modern dreary aren't Radiohead amazing album, the modern fusion of world music and breakbeats album, the modern quirky singer/songwriter album."
