1. Barabbas is a German doom metal band from Leipzig formed by 3 brothers in 2005. They got their name from the Bible's criminal Barabbas who was left free instead of Jesus. Their album Golgotha is inspired by the book Barabbas by Pär Lagerkvist which tells the tale of Barabbas seeing Jesus put on the cross in a place meant for him. The album is instrumental.
