Luke Combs

Luke Combs is a Grammy-winning American country music singer and songwriter whose career has been defined by a string of chart-topping hits and a genuine connection with his audience. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and raised in Asheville, Combs displayed a passion for performing from a young age, singing in church and school ensembles, even performing a solo at Carnegie Hall during his high school years.

After attending Appalachian State University, Combs pursued his musical ambitions, honing his craft in local bars before relocating to Nashville, Tennessee. His early independent releases, including EPs like The Way She Rides (2014) and Can I Get an Outlaw (2014), laid the groundwork for his eventual success. His debut single, "Hurricane," released in 2016, gained significant traction, selling well and charting on Billboard's Hot Country Songs. This led to a deal with Sony Music Nashville and a re-release of "Hurricane" on Columbia Nashville, which soared to the #1 spot on the Country Airplay chart in May 2017.
