IC3PEAK

IC3PEAK is a Russian experimental electronic music duo that emerged in Moscow in October 2013. The group comprises producer Nikolay Kostylev (known as Nick) and vocalist Anastasia Kreslina (known as Nastya). Their early work, between 2014 and 2016, included the EPs Substances and Vacuum, both released in 2014, followed by the albums IC3PEAK (2015) and FALLAL (2016). Initially, they were recognized for their ethereal and abstract take on the witch house genre.

In 2017, IC3PEAK shifted their focus, releasing their first album entirely in Russian, titled Сладкая жизнь (Sweet Life). The duo expressed a desire to connect with their native audience, stating they "felt the urge for a dialog with our native generation about common fears, problems and feelings without language barrier." This album marked a departure towards a darker trap sound, incorporating elements of art pop and glitch pop while still retaining ties to witch house. The accompanying music video for the single "Грустная сука" ("Sad Bitch"), which the duo wrote, directed, stylized, produced, and edited themselves, garnered significant attention, reaching 5.8 million views by September 2018. They also released two non-album singles, "Monster" in 2017 and "This World Is Sick" in 2018.
