Alfa Mist

Alfa Mist is a British musician whose sound blends hip-hop, grime, and jazz influences. He began his musical journey in his teenage years, exploring hip-hop and grime before immersing himself in jazz and teaching himself piano during his college years.

His exploration of hip-hop's sampling culture led him to discover a wide range of genres, particularly jazz. This discovery, alongside his admiration for the innovative work of Miles Davis and the atmospheric film scores of Hans Zimmer, has shaped his distinctive musical style. Alfa Mist's compositions are often described as soundtrack-worthy, evoking a soulful atmosphere rich with emotion. He notes that his personal inclination towards introspection often results in his music carrying a melancholic and reflective tone, aiming to evoke a strong emotional response in listeners.
