Consolation (Dutch Death Metal Band)
Consolation was a Dutch death metal band formed in Zaanstreek, Netherlands, in 1989. The group released three full-length albums through Displeased Records before disbanding in 1999. Following their split, three members—Toep Duin, Dennis Jak, and Manoloxx—briefly continued their musical endeavors in the short-lived band Cardinal, which formed in 2002. Notably, Duin, Jak, and Manoloxx were also simultaneously members of the black metal band Unlord during their tenure with Consolation.
