Iron Maiden Announces 2027 Run For Your Lives Tour Dates

A Surprise Return to North America

Iron Maiden, the legendary Heavy Metal group formed in 1975, has announced a surprise third and final leg of their 50th-anniversary trek. The band originally intended to take a year off from touring in 2027 but decided to extend the run following the massive success of their recent shows in the United States and Canada. This final 16-show stretch will focus on regions the current tour missed, specifically the North West and South East.

Bassist and founder Steve Harris explained the decision to return to the road:

"As many of our fans know, Maiden were planning on taking a break from live performances in 2027, but we’ve been enjoying this last leg in the USA and Canada so much that we all had a chat and decided we should take the show to parts we missed, particularly the North West and South East. It just seems fair to our many fans there who have given us tremendous support for so many years. We can’t get everywhere but we can try! Also, we have always enjoyed playing the many great festivals that are in Europe and wanted to experience a couple more in the USA which we will do at the end of the tour in Columbus and Maryland. At festivals you are not just playing to your own fans so it’s always a challenge and we all love a challenge!"

An All-British Bill and Major Production

The 2027 leg will feature a special all-British lineup, marking the first time since 1983 that the band has toured North America with two other British acts. Joining the tour as special guests are Bullet For My Valentine, who are scheduled to release their new album, Social Apocalypse, on March 19, 2027. Rounding out the bill is The Raven Age, who recently supported the band during their South and Central American dates.

The tour will feature the band's full, dramatic production for every performance. By the time the "Run For Your Lives" tour concludes, it will have reached 36 countries, consisting of 107 shows performed for well over three million fans.

Growth and Fan Support

Manager Rod Smallwood noted that the band's following continues to reach new heights, including their first-ever stadium headlining shows in the United States. He highlighted the band's enduring popularity despite a lack of mainstream support:

"The first leg was terrific, huge sell-out crowds of all ages spanning multi-generations, some of the biggest shows we have ever played in North America with rave fan and media reactions, and just a great all round vibe and camaraderie from our fans, including in our Eddie’s Dive Bars everywhere. And I know as I go to every one of them! In fact it was so good we just have to come back and play some places we missed and bring Eddie’s Dive Bars with us!"

Ticket Sales and 2027 Tour Schedule

The general ticket on-sale begins October 23 at 10:00 AM local time. An artist presale is scheduled to start on Monday, October 19 at 10:00 AM local time. Fans can also access Trooper VIP packages, which include a seated ticket, access to the official "Trooper" pre-show party, and exclusive merchandise.
