Rainbow Kitten Surprise, an alternative/indie-pop band, emerged from the mountain town of Boone, North Carolina. Known for their distinctive sound characterized by catchy melodies, profound lyrical depth, intricate basslines, and memorable guitar riffs, the group draws inspiration from artists such as Modest Mouse, Lana Del Rey, and Kings of Leon.
The band's origins trace back to early 2013 when founding members Ela Melo and Darrick "Bozzy" Keller began collaborating on music. Initially a duo with acoustic guitars, their creative partnership evolved into a full band with a distinctive name.
